I make things because I'm cheap. I refuse to pay money for something I can make myself. But I've experienced an explosion of crafting in the last few months. And I can only give one reason why - this adoption.
We are waiting to be chosen by birth-parents. Waiting. And frankly, waiting sucks. I'm a proactive "get things done" kinda gal. And waiting is not my forte. So I craft.
Crafting is something I can control. I control the process from inception to completion. And I don't have to rely on anyone else. So now I make things to feel some form of completion. And lucky you, you can follow along.
